The internet’s most beloved geek, Wil Wheaton, calls out misogyny in gaming, and confronts the men who attack him for doing so. Incredible.

Go fuck yourself Wheaton.

Jesus christ, what’s happening to everyone lately?

Lol he’s always been an ass kissing little twat, no surprise here.

"Nice guy" Wheaton

Everything Beyonce does is careful and thought out. Her entire image is perfection crafted from planning ahead. She does not ‘wing it’ or throw things into her performances and public appearances ‘just because’.

What she did at this award show was amazing, especially because of how intentional and thought out it clearly was.

Feminism is a scary word for a lot of people. Many women are afraid of calling themselves feminist because they think it implies anger, hatred of men, or a rejection of traditional femininity.

Beyonce presented everyone watching with two distinct images of what many viewers viewed as two very different women. There is the strong, independent FEMINIST. She is the woman who likes being in control and being in the spotlight. Then there is the WIFE and MOTHER. She is soft, sweet, smiling at the husband and child you can tell she loves and values so much.

For every girl watching who was afraid to be a feminist, afraid to be powerful, because of what she thought she would lose, this is an incredible message. You can be all the things you want to be. You can be both. Feminists can have amazing happy, full lives full of both traditional and modern womanhood.

Feminism means gender should not be a source of persecution or a restriction of your choices. Feminism mean the type of person you should be is based on what you value, not what outside forces pressure you to value because of your gender or biological sex. Shout at the top of your lungs that you are a feminist and proud. Then go and be the exact person that you want to be.

lets all snap back to reality here and look at FACTS.

let’s look at what real feminism has done in the real world.

Now, theres no question that feminists did some great things for womens rights. but they’ve also done a whole lot of bad for both genders as well, especially in recent years.

many of the first feminists where white supremacists.

feminist have campaigned and fought against equality for both genders on many occasions

many feminist leaders were borderline genercidal. In fact Valerie Solanas, who helped to shape modern patriarchy theory, and who’s writing is still taught today in womens studies classes, not only attempted to assassinate Andy Warhol, but also wrote a book called the S.C.U.M. Manifesto (or feminist Mein Kompf), which was about gendercide, and she is still hailed as a feminist hero to this day. this book is still used in womens studies classes despite the fact that it proposes reducing the male population to 10% and using them for breeding purposes.

Now i know what you’re gonna say, NOT ALL FEMINISTS.

Feminism is a political movement. It has leaders. The rest of the people who join it, like the bloggers on tumblr, inherently support them by supporting feminism. Its not a big enough party to have multiple sects. Political parties motives are determined not by the supporters, but by the people who lead them, the people who do fundraisers, and organize protests, and slutwalks. The people who create the propaganda. The ones who write the literature, and who teach the women’s studies courses and plan their curriculums. Those people are far more influential than a sixteen year old with a blog and a few hundred followers.

The thing is, even your definition of feminism is wrong. The name itself should tell you that this is a gendered movement. Im assuming you’re going by the Websters definition.

Now im gonna do a breakdown on why even by its very definition feminism isnt for equality.

  1. the advocacy of women’s rights on the grounds of political, social, and economic equality to men.

That link will take you to the ACTUAL definition of Feminism. now Websters did in fact say sexes but its secondary definition said

“organized activity on behalf of women’s rights and interests" which even by Websters is still in favor of women. The oxford english dictionary also says that feminism is indeed about women.

You are probably asking yourself why this is even a problem. Aren’t women the ones who still need rights? Well see that may have been true twenty years ago but now it really isn’t. The main problem with the definition of feminism is that it enforces this idea that men live in some ideal world that women should want to live in. Idealizes our situation has the negative effect of erasing our problems. So even by its very definition feminism is already fucking up the idea of equal treatment and consideration.

men actually have less rights than women. men are also demonized as rapists due to unequal rape laws that favor women. when you analyze the situation you’ll find that women rape almost as often as men (about 40% of rapists are women) and men are raped just as often if not more than women.

Men want protection against false rape allegations. They feel that a man’s life should not be ruined simply on the allegation of a woman who may be a vindictive liar. Currently, a woman can accuse a man of rape for no reason, and the man’s name is splashed in the paper and his life is ruined. So, they fought for laws granting men anonymity until charged with the crime of rape—not convicted, just charged.

Feminists fought against this, causing it to fail. Also see here, the London Feminist Network campaigning to defeat the proposal.

Men want an end to the justice system favoring women simply because they are women, and giving men harsher sentences simply because they are men.

Feminists fought against this, arguing that no woman should be sent to jail, even women who had murdered multiple people.

Men want equal treatment when victims of domestic violence, and to not be arrested for the crime of “being male” under primary aggressor policies.

Feminists fought against this by trying to suppress evidence showing that half of domestic violence is done by women, by threatening the researchers with bomb threats, death threats, etc. Modern, younger feminists are doing it as well.

The feminist definition of domestic violence has skewed arrest and prosecution philosophies, resulting primarily in having only male batterers criminally pursued.

Men want female rapists to be arrested, charged, and convicted with rape. In Western countries, women are rarely punished when raping men, due to the biased legal system. In some countries, women cannot be punished when raping men, since rape is defined as a male-perpetrated crime.

Feminists fought against this in India, arguing that “there is a physicality [in] rape” and that it would make things “more complicated for judges.”

Feminists fought against this in Israel, claiming that changing the law would result in men filing false rape claims.

Men don’t want to be thrown in jail because they lost their jobs and temporarily cannot pay child support.

Feminists fought against this, trying to lower the amount to $5000 before a man is guilty of a felony for not paying child support. If a man loses a decent-paying job, he will now be a felon, go to jail, lose his right to vote, AND be unable to find future jobs—if he cannot regain an equal-paying job within a few months.

Men want equal economic support and help from the government. When the recession hit, male-dominated fields like construction lost millions of jobs, while female-fields like education and healthcare gained jobs. So the government proposed an economic stimulus for those fields.

Feminists successfully fought against this, arguing that it was discrimination to support men, and caused the government to give money to women who didn’t deserve it. Hundreds of professional feminists complained against the “sexism” of helping men (who had lost jobs) and not women (who had gained jobs).

A representative of the Michigan National Organization for Women testified in opposition to the Revocation of Paternity Act, which stopped the old law which stated that if a woman was married and cheated on her husband, the resulting child is considered to be legally the husband’s and the biological father had no legal rights to fight for custody or parenting time with his biological child.

In 2008, a law was passed in England and Wales that allowed long-term domestic violence victims who killed their abuser to be charged with the lesser charge of manslaughter, but this only applies to women

In California and Montana, a woman can name any man she likes as the father, he gets a letter in the mail, if he does not prove he isn’t the father within 30 days he is now the father and must payHe cannot contest it. And DNA tests to prove paternity are not considered proof by the courts.

Women who falsely accuse a man of rape, who would be sent to prison for 10+ years if convicted, only gets fined or a slap on the wrist.

There is also the gender bias in the Probation Departments:

A higher score on the Probation Assessment Tool (PAT) means a recommendation that could lead to eventual dismissal of charges. A lower score means probation or lockup, not to mention the juvenile delinquent tag. [Judge] Hunt claims PAT routinely rewards girls with 14 extra points for gender alone, while boys get 0.

Then there are studies that show women who fail to pay child support are incarcerated only 1/8th as often as men with similar violations.

The feminist definition of domestic violence has skewed arrest and prosecution philosophies, resulting in having mostly male batterers criminally pursued, and female batterers left alone.

Men who are falsely accused of rape can have their names published and their lives ruined even if they are not convicted or charged - their accuser is protected and is likely to face no punishment, or a light one.

you’re right about one thing though. this WAS carefully executed.

this was a strategic move executed due to the recent hatred katy perry received when she declared that she was not a feminist.

Beyonce said in an interview she didn’t like labels. She called herself a modern feminist because of all the hate Katy and other female celebrities not declaring themselves as feminists.

Beyonce was scared her fans will hate her and turn against her if she didn’t become a feminist!

So congratulations Bey fans, even your precious “queen” knows you’re disloyal, immature, and insane.

Adding the majority of this to my “Dear Feminists” thingy.
Thanks for the links.

This is so one-sided and narrow visioned, it borders on being hilarious.

  1. Let’s tackle gif one…the magazines, um so do the video makers not think men see magazines and wish they had the bodies of the guys on them? Because let me assure you, this DOES happen. Men may not protest or complain about it as vocally as women do, but it does sit in their minds and they do dwell on their “imperfect” physical prowesses. If they didn’t, would you really see so many guys hitting up the gym or casually mentioning how they want to get a six-pack? Buff muscle bound actors, musicians, model men are plastered across all sorts of women’s and men’s magazines. Men get to see the burly adonis-like physiques of people like Hugh Jackman, Brad Pitt (well…back in the day), David Beckham, Zac Efron, Bradley Cooper, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, etc, front and center on the magazine aisles right next to the women who are shown just the same.

The only reason men are less vocal in this insecurity is they are taught not to complain, that complaining will do nothing, so they have to either just give up and distress about it or hit the gym constantly, or….learn to be okay and happy with the bodies they have, but I can assure you, even if it isn’t vocally expressed, the third option is not the norm, sadly.

  2. Gif two…Superhero movies are predominantly male power centered, I get that so I concede that much. But the TV shows, reverse versions of King of Queens, Family Guy, Still Standing, shows where an overweight man has somehow scored a relatively bombshell fit/thin wife. But the problem the video makers intentionally fail to mention is that in those shows, the men suffer from being made to look utterly and appallingly idiotic. These men may have scored a hot wife, but not only is she hot, she is almost always portrayed as the voice of reason and sensibility, the smart one, the true heroine to all the man’s blundering stupidity. So these men may have scored a hot wife, but it always comes at the cost of their blithering lack of intelligence.

So really who is the sexism against here? Is it sexist to say that men despite their physical appearance can still get a very attractive spouse? Or is it more sexist and quite fat-shaming to portray these obese men as having no redeeming qualities, to make a stereotyped trope of the idiotic fat husband? I’d say the latter is farrrrr more sexist and disgusting a trope than simply the hot wife being the smart, reasonable, praised one who happens to be married to a guy that is physically “out of her league”. You can whine about “benevolent sexism”, but really….? Portraying the men as idiotic, slobbish, fat guys is tons more sexist and fat-shaming, overall it is much worse than the role of the women in these shows. End of story.

  3. Gif three…So the video makers are trying to say that men just don’t experience catcalls, wolf whistles, and being objectified? Try again. This happens quite as much as it happens to women. Guys just vocally express their uncomfortability with it, less. And many guys just simply try to take it as a compliment. But men face these things too, stop trying to make it all “if men were women hurr durr durr then they’d deal with this stuff and be so uncomfy and they’d KNOW what women have to deal with, it’s so hard for women”. But men ALREADY DO face these scenarios. Next!

  4. Gif four…People saying “it’s hard to find a funny woman”, are sexist assholes, point blank. But this IS NOT the majority opinion, this is an INDIVIDUAL opinion. Stop trying to make this opinion seem as if it is something mainstream, it isn’t. If it was, I Love Lucy, which is quite possibly the most successful television show of the 1950s, and maybe even the 60s, would never have had so much success. The demographic of those who watched the show were equal in sex, the show came on in the primetime hours, it was a family show and families would sit around and watch it together and laugh TOGETHER. People, MEN and women, thought the antics of Lucille Ball and her comedy show were the height of hilarity. So men on the whole DO find women funny, because the aspect of what they find funny on the whole has nothing to do with the sex of the person delivering the humour. Like I said, this opinion of “you’re funny for a girl” does circulate, indeed, but it is on an individual basis, not a societal mainstream basis.

  5. The last gif…I think we can all concede that seeing a good woman president in office would be very refreshing on terms of gender opportunities having occupied the Oval Office. But just because there hasn’t been a woman president does not mean that women aren’t allowed to be president. The track for the presidency is open to anyone who is qualified for it, there is no statute which bars the presidency from a candidate based on their sex or gender. Women might feel discouraged from pursuing the presidency as this gif is trying to portray, but it is inherently misleading that this gif doesn’t bother to show the milestones and paved paths that soon enough a woman president is a strong possibility.

Times have changed a lot, we see more and more women in political positions, positions which signify power, responsibility, and the leadership and representation of the people. Women like Condoleeza Rice, Hilary Clinton, Sarah Palin (even if I and most people don’t like her, she still showed some headway for women in pursuit of those executive political positions), Sonia Sotomayor, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Madeleine Albright, Janet Reno, Margaret Thatcher (for leadership potential in general for the world-through, yes I know she isn’t American), Wendy Davis, and so on and so on. So the gif is being intentionally misguiding in painting the future as if women will never become president, when signs are pointing so strongly to the future being bright and more and more welcoming for a woman president.

It’s so sad to see how people have swallowed this down in reblogs with a clear lack of critical thinking. These gifs are a clear-cut case of the video makers painting issues how they want other to perceive them, not how things really are, or that an equal or close equivalent is almost always at hand on the other side.

Having the government dictate how people should behave in sexual encounters is a terrible idea.

The State Legislature has passed, in its glorious wisdom a bill that mandates that colleges must observe a “Yes means Yes” standard on college campuses.

Or you can be convicted of rape.

Keep in mind, the wording concerning body language was intentionally left out. This means if a girl doesn’t explicitly say “Yes” you’re a fucking rapist as far as the State of California is concerned.

If a girl sucks your dick without first saying she wants to… you’ve raped her. Because let’s be honest, this standard will only be applied in one direction.

Keep in mind, you’re not just required to ask your partner if she’s consenting as you engage in sex.. you have to fucking REPEATEDLY ASK DURING THE SEX ACT because if you don’t she can say “I tensed up and he didn’t stop therefore he raped me”.

I’m not fucking making that up. That the actual example they use.

So… in closing. If you’re a male and you attend a college in California FUCKING RUN because your college has a vested financial interest in fucking destroying you.

Fuck Feminists.

Watch out guys in Cali, this could ruin your life! :c be careful ❤️

…..? If a girl doesn’t say yes to you it means no….. Is this a foreign concept to men or some shit? Is consent not a thing? What?

Sweetie, I think you’re missing the point.

You see, false accusations of rape are already at an all-time high, and do a lot more damage to a person’s life than you may want to believe.  We are now at a point where men are literally being made to be suspicious of every woman.  Was this suddenly the goal now?  Rather than being unreasonably afraid of every man over the actions of a few (completely disregarding, of course, the fact that the brains of those that commit acts of assault are functionally different from those of the average individual, showing a lack of function mainly in the pre-frontal cortex, which is responsible for inhibiting anti-social impulses, thus rendering the idea that “all” of ANY group can or will react the same way to any given amount of cultural input, which is an absolute, inarguable scientific FACT), we should have men be paranoid about ever even talking to women?  Especially when I’m pretty sure the majority of this “rape culture” bullshit is coming from bitter women who can’t seem to get over the idea that maybe it’s their own personality that’s repelling men, I have my doubts that this is going to foster positive relations between men and women.  I don’t know about you, hon, but if a guy is repeatedly asking for my previously-given consent after he’s already sunk the Titanic in me, that’s kind of a mood-killer.

For all the so-called “oppression” that women allegedly face (and mind you, I AM a woman, and have been so for 31 years now), the people abusing the term of “feminist” have made it so men legitimately have to fear for their futures if they so much as have a crush on someone, and give them a compliment on how nice they look.  Even if you really like a guy, and even if he likes you back, he is now probably going to treat you like a fucking leper, because he has no way of knowing whether you’re going to abuse your privileges as a woman, and ruin his life.

This new law creates an even more fertile ground for false rape accusations to flourish.  If anyone bothered to look at the actual facts regarding rape, they’d know that it is nowhere near the epidemic that people are claiming it is.

IF the one-in-four statistic is correct—it is sometimes modified to “one-in-five to one-in-four”—campus rape represents a crime wave of unprecedented proportions. No crime, much less one as serious as rape, has a victimization rate remotely approaching 20 or 25 percent, even over many years. The 2006 violent crime rate in Detroit, one of the most violent cities in America, was 2,400 murders, rapes, robberies, and aggravated assaults per 100,000 inhabitants—a rate of 2.4 percent. The one-in-four statistic would mean that every year, millions of young women graduate who have suffered the most terrifying assault, short of murder, that a woman can experience. Such a crime wave would require nothing less than a state of emergency—Take Back the Night rallies and 24-hour hotlines would hardly be adequate to counter this tsunami of sexual violence. Admissions policies letting in tens of thousands of vicious criminals would require a complete revision, perhaps banning boys entirely.”

— Heather Mac Donald, "The Campus Rape Myth".

It is a disaster waiting to happen, and all for the sake of pandering to an unsubstantiated mass hysteria.  It’s like if the government took Bigfoot sightings as dead serious, and allowed people the right to shoot anything that moves on their property.  It is providing an even easier avenue for women to take their own personal resentment out on others.  Have you ever heard of the movie Disclosure (1994)?  You may want to give it a watch.

For all the complaints about the weaponization of sexuality, “feminists” have turned around and DONE THE EXACT SAME FUCKING THING.

This makes me so fucking pissed.

It’s not hard at all. However, you missed the entire point. It’s not about asking BEFORE having sex. That’s simply not enough anymore. It doesn’t matter if your partner said yes, as long as they change their mind mid-sex (even if they don’t let you know in any way!), it is rape. Essentially, let’s say you’re having sex with someone. You both agreed to it beforehand, you both want it. In the middle of it, they think “shit, maybe I shouldn’t be doing this”; they don’t tell you, they don’t stop, the thought just crosses their mind and makes them unnerved for a moment. At that point, it is rape. Even if you perceived it as consensual sex, even if you had NO WAY OF KNOWING that they changed their mind, legally it can be construed as rape. THAT’s how insane it is.

Alright, I can understand that fear. However, sometimes people do change their mind, or are comfortable, say, giving a blowjob, but not with vaginal sex. Or maybe they’re cool with vaginal, but don’t like anal. In the event that the night’s activities switch between various forms of sex, I’m pretty sure it’d be easier to ask “You’re okay with this too, right?” then it would be to be in the position of things just happening and you not only being uncomfortable, but likely pretty confused as well, and trying to explain why it needs to stop.

You understand now?

You’re still not getting it.. it means one party has to constantly, every step of the way, ask permission, for everything they do… every single time they do it.

Imagine having to ask your girlfriend if you can kiss her *every time you kiss*.

Even if she says “You can kiss me whenever you want”… she doesn’t have to tell you that she withdrew that consent because consent is not assumed to be ongoing and if you go up and kiss your girlfriend, the law, as written, means you just commit sexual assault.

If you cuddle with your girlfriend in bed, fall asleep, reach over and snoring away grab her boob you’ve also just commit sexual assault.

If you’re having sex and you touch her tits without asking on the seventy seventh time you’ve had sex… you’ve commit sexual assault.

Are you picking up what i’m putting down yet?

This law is so unbelievably warped and abusable as to be insane. It would be *impossible* to have a meaningful sexual relationship while operating under such laws.

Imagine trying to drive where you must drive 50 miles an hour… you can’t drive faster… you can’t drive slower… you have to drive 50 miles an hour or you risk imprisonment.

You’d just stop driving.

Same concept.

That’s a false equivalency.

A better comparison is, and is actually a law, You can’t drive faster than the speed limit. The sign has to tell you you can go a certain speed before you can. If you turn onto a road and don’t see the speed limit sign, and just assume 50 or whatever, and it’s faster, you’re still speeding, so you still get a ticket.

And that sounds pretty reasonable.

Except consent can be withdrawn at any time and you don’t have to be made aware of it.

So whether you’re breaking the law or not… you don’t have to know.

I mean you’re literally over there fucking arguing in favor of convicting people using a law where the accused can actually be made to commit a crime against the person accusing them without ever being aware they’re committing a crime.

That’s fucking kafkaesque.

It’s insane.

And how you can possibly tell me “it’s sounds pretty reasonable” is just as batshit fucking nuts.

Ignorance of the law has never been a valid defense for any crime. So every single law ever written is “batshit fucking nuts?”

And if you want to know if you’re raping someone or not, just ask. If at that point they say yes, then congratulations, you’re clear! If they say no, stop, and congratulations, still not a rapist!

This really isn’t that difficult.

Christ, you’re not getting it. We’re not talking about ignorance of the law… we’re talking about being incapable of knowing as to whether or not you’re breaking it.

Even the person that WROTE the law flat out said that she knows of no defense the accuse can muster against it. None.

There’s no way to prove you have consent.

The way this bill defines “affirmative consent” could open the door to a flood of sexual assault accusations, but provides no clear way for the accused to prove they obtained consent.

The bill requires both parties involved in sexual activity to provide an “affirmative, conscious, and voluntary agreement,” and stipulates that a “lack of protest or resistance does not mean consent, nor does silence mean consent.”

Further, the bill requires consent to be “ongoing throughout a sexual activity and can be revoked at any time.” And just because a couple has a prior dating history or has engaged in sexual activity previously “should never by itself be assumed to be an indicator of consent.”

So what specifically constitutes consent? The billleaves the door openfor non-verbal consent to be accepted, as George Mason University School Of Law professor David Bernstein noted in the Washington Post, but provides no tangible way to prove that consent — verbal or non-verbal — was obtained.

In fact, asked in June, the bill’s principal co-author, Assemblywoman Bonnie Lowenthal, D-Long Beach, had no cluehow one could prove they received affirmative consent.

Your guess is as good as mine,” Lowenthal told the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.

Seriously… if the fucking lady who wrote the fucking thing doesn’t have any clue as to how one could prove they WEREN’T a rapist…. it’s a bad fucking law. I’m done with you. You’re simply too fucking stupid to keep talking too.

Anonymous asked:

How is asking people to go and harrass some guy just because he disagrees with you even remotely ok?

gabydunn answered:

I know. I’m evil.

So you’re like… no one would abuse incredibly fucked up laws that make it impossible for the accused to prove their innocence.

And I’m like “Have you ever been on this fucking website called tumblr”? Yes, I know you’re on tumblr. But if you’re asking me the above you must be so god damn’d motherfucking oblivious that should I take it upon myself to nail a dick to your forehead you’d be curiously asking me about the ball shaped clouds obscuring your vision.

Exhibit Motherfucking A. Why do horrible mean spirited shit eating things to someone that could have dire real world consequences?

Because they can.

Read that carefully. Very carefully. And pay attention as that tiny thread of ice cold sweat slides down your back as you recognize the very real implications of the degree of hate within the very community most likely to abuse the shit out of these laws.

How many times have you seen this sort of thing? I’m not even talking specifically about this fucked up little girl.

Here’s what I mean..

There’s an entire subreddit devoted exclusively to finding the warped and twisted opinions of Social Justice Warriors and the horrible shit they do.

I mean for fuck’s sake… they published my mother’s home address. One of them actually purchased my father’s criminal record thinking it was mine in the hopes of exposing me for… god knows what the fuck ever.

People roll their eyes when I say Supremacist movement but see for yourself. In the above instance it was just some guy that *disagreed with her* so she doxxed him.

We’ve all heard about how Zoe Quinn doxxed a game developer that was *trying to help women* for FREE because she felt he wasn’t doing *enough*.

That’s the degree of fucked up insanity we’re dealing with. On and on and on and on. Fucking constantly. With the lies, and the misdirection and the hate. Endless fucking hate.

So when you talk about putting a political gun into the hands of some fucking feminist sociopath remember all your “But I…. I WAS A REAL FEMINIST! Feminism REALLY means equ…. *kick to the fucking head from the feminist you supported last week because you didn’t support her enough*

And all your plaintive cries won’t mean shit when they come knocking on YOUR door.

Everyone involved recognizes the insanity of this law except Feminists. To them? To them it makes perfect sense.

To them? Suspicion of Rape merits this..

The degree of fanaticism… the extremism they exhibit is nothing new. We see it all over the world today and we’ve seen this in others god knows how many times before. The question is, how much will you let is spread here. How much more power are you going to give them? How long it will take before you open your fucking eyes.
